Hey, I’m Ksenia, a product designer. I’ve been designing things for B2B companies and having fun for over 10 years. A colleague once said what describes me very well:
“Ksenia has a positive and easygoing attitude, so it's always a pleasure to have a meeting with her. Her deeply analytical mindset also doesn't hurt.”
Let's start with a standard part of my portfolio:

I initiated small but impactful design changes for the login form to reduce support cases due to locked accounts. Read more →

I created a new design team in the company, raised it to 5 designers, and built all the processes. In 2021, 5 designers in my team provided end-to-end design for 30 products. Read more →

Mobile and desktop UI for the web app where students can share their homework with a teacher. I reconsidered the initial concept, convinced the team, and validated it through user testing. Read more →

I led the redesign of the Help Center as the art director to enhance the user experience by improving navigation and accessibility. Read more →
And here are some details to help you understand me better as a designer:
I lead the design system team and contribute myself. I love digging into components, properties, and details, and I’m a Figma nerd naming all the layers (but I don’t expect others to do the same).

I like to share my knowledge and experience, often giving talks to colleagues. One of my favorite speeches is about feedback - on how to give and receive feedback if you're a designer.

I enjoy making useful tools. When I couldn't find a good browser mockup for my portfolio, I made one and shared it with the community. It has received 20,000 views and 10,000 downloads.

I love adding a touch of playfulness to every project:
I made a Star Wars-themed video to motivate front-end engineers to develop our design system. They chose the light side of the Force.

To make a boring project more enjoyable, I added the Lumpy Space Princess from Adventure Time to my prototypes. This also got the developers engaged in the project.

I created a comic with design specs for a developer who didn’t like reading design documents. He felt touched and developed everything just right.

I’m not only my work, I love doing side projects:

A project offering tips to turn your phone from a distraction into a useful tool, with illustrations created using Midjourney.
